What is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES)

The designation of Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) is a professional designation offered by the National Association of Realtors®. The SRES program was established in 1999 as a way to educate and train real estate agents on how to work with older adults, especially those with special needs. In addition to receiving training, real estate agents who become SRES have access to resources specifically designed for the senior market.

  • An SRES provides an approach without pressure, with the time to listen and advise so clients feel comfortable and confident in their choices.
